The Great Northern Railway took pride in its passenger trains from the
beginning when passenger trains were the mode of transportation to take,
until the end when more flexible and faster modes of transportation came into
swing. Even towards the end, when a constant upgrading to higher levels of
comfort could not stop the declining passenger numbers, GN made sure that the
trains it still ran were dependable and clean. This section will highlight the GN passenger operations,
it's name trains, secondary trains and locals, timetables, etc.
